Write My Bio!

My “bio” is currently an experimental job offering in progress – if this sounds interesting, check out my job posting on Elance.

Heres the description from elance:

I need a professional bio written for my blog, but I’d like to try an “experimental” process. I’d like you to investigate me – call my parents, my siblings, my relatives – and piece together a bio about me. Obviously I’d like a positive, complimentary spin, but at the same time I don’t mind some brutal honesty.

I’d like to do this in a few phases:

1 – Investigate me. I’ll provide phone numbers of close family and friends, and you ask the crucial questions to gain insight about me.

2 – Piece together what you think are the most interesting and worthy facts about me, and organize an outline of what you plan to write.

3 – I review the outline and critique as necessary. Rinse and repeat a few times, if needed.

4 – You write the final bio, allowing for one or two small rounds of review by me.

Bio should be between 300 – 500 words.

I’d like someone that is humorous yet professional, goofy but deadly serious, or some other oxymoronic combination. If you feel like this is the perfect job for you, please let me know somehow in your proposal. If possible, please include some ideas about what you would ask my friends/family.

Most importantly, so that I know you actually read this job description, please start your post with “I’m real”.

Thanks for reading – I look forward to working with you! :)
